Educational/Training Background Info: Played competitive sports my whole life. Started crossfit in 2011. Got my Level 1 cert in 2012.
What was your first WOD? (Where/When/What/Did you shit the bed): I don’t remember exactly what it was. I know it was an AMRAP of some sort. What I do remember was the panic attack I had afterwards because I couldn’t breathe. I have been hooked ever since!!
Greatest Fitness/Nutrition Advice You’ve Ever Received: Shop the perimeter of the grocery store. The things that are good for you don’t have labels. If you are hungry , EAT. (just make sure you are eating the right things)

Words of Wisdom for Rookies: Stop saying “I can’t” and starting thinking “how can I?” Your mind will quit long before your body will. Don’t get caught up in pushing heavy weight, perfect your form first and the rest will come.

Who inspires you: My mom. Fellow crossfiters
Why crossfit?: Crossfit constantly challenges me. I never get bored (if you know me, this is a BIG deal). I love the competitive aspect of crossfit, I push myself more than I would at the regular gym. The same people I compete against are also my biggest motivators and supporters. I look forward to going to the gym everyday and leave feeling like I gave everything I had.
